Trunk Show - January 17th - Annette Plog

Trunk Show

Annette Plog

Annette has been quilting since she learned to piece her first quilt, a Lone Star Quilt, in 1987. Being a lover of antique quilts, she was invited to help start a block exchange group, The 19th Century Patchwork Divas, in 1997. The purpose of the group was to reproduce antique quilts using the reproduction fabrics available at the time.

December - Holiday Party

TVQG HOLIDAY CELEBRATION
Friday, December 20, 2019

It's Party Time! Time for our members to celebrate the season and another successful TVQG year. We will again be welcoming guests from our Community Outreach agencies and local dignitaries to celebrate with us.

The doors open at 8:00 a.in. & lunch served at 10:30 a.m.

Sweet Dish - Last name beginning with A - K

Savory Dish - Last name beginning with L - Z (something to compliment our entrees)

Again, we will be serving brisket, ham & turkey. Please have your food item ready to serve & if you wish to use the Church's warming oven, be sure to place your item in an oven-safe container.

We will start serving lunch at 10:30 a.m. Those needing help with serving will be assisted by a "hospitality ambassador," and served first. All others will be randomly selected table by table, so no one has to stand in line for an extended period of time.

Table Decorations:

Our decorators are making a list and checking it twice. We thank those who have volunteered to decorate a table(s). We have 14 round tables and three oblong tables, each seat eight. They will be covered with a white tablecloth. A hostess gift at each place setting is optional.

You can decorate your table on Thursday, December 19th, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. or the doors will be open at 8:00 a.m. on Friday.

It is less confusing if most of the tables are decorated the day before the party.

Table Seating:

Our door greeters will be asking each member or guest if they need assistance With seating. If yes, then they will help them locate a place to sit.

Each table decorator Will indicate an empty place setting by placing a reserved card or vacant card at each place setting. This Will make it easier to locate a place to sit.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact me, Sharon Carter.
